Who is the Record Factory?

The Record Factory are artists themselves – a full-time musician himself, Simon Morel has been around Record Producers and the music industry for more than 15 years, made band EPs to full-length solo records and played on numerous artist’s records in both Australia and the UK.

Simon is a regular speaker at music industry events and co-ran ‘PopTarts’, one of Sydney’s most respected and longest running independent music showcases for over 9 years.

In addition to his music background, Simon has a business degree from the UK and has worked in supplier relationship building roles in the UK, Australia and Germany in sectors from the music industry to funds management, to human resources.
