About Simon Morel
I’m a professional guitarist, teacher, and educator. Alongside private lessons, my guitar instruction is followed by thousands of players worldwide through my YouTube channel and Patreon community.
My focus is helping students understand how music works on the guitar, so they can move beyond memorising shapes and start playing with confidence.

How Lessons Work
Lessons are fully tailored to your goals. You can either:
- Nominate the songs you want to learn and we’ll work through them week by week.
- Select from a wide repertoire of songs I’ve prepared (see the song list).
Along the way, you’ll learn:
- Chords and chord progressions
- Song structures and styles
- Techniques specific to the songs you love
You’ll receive clear instructions for every song. You’re welcome to audio or video record lessons. Sometimes I even create YouTube tutorials — see my YouTube channel here. If you get stuck between lessons, I provide guidance to get you back on track.
